Risk Disclaimer
The short version: we build research tools, not recommendations. Every number you see is simulated, every backtest is hypothetical, and every trade you place is your own decision.
Written in plain English on purpose. If a clause here reads as though it is hiding something, tell us at [email protected] and we will rewrite it.
Read this first
AlgoBeam provides research and analysis tools only. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any asset. Backtested and simulated results are hypothetical, carry no guarantee of future performance, and do not reflect real trading costs. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
This notice appears in the footer of every page on algobeam.com. The sections below explain each part of it in more detail.
01Nothing here is investment advice
AlgoBeam publishes research tools. It does not publish recommendations. No output of the platform — an AI Quant answer, a backtest report, a screener result, a heatmap tile, an alert, a library article or a blog post — is investment advice, a solicitation, or an offer to buy or sell any security, derivative, currency or digital asset.
Nothing on this site is tailored to you. We do not know your income, your obligations, your tax position, your time horizon or your tolerance for a bad quarter, and the platform makes no attempt to guess. A signal that suits a full-time futures trader can be actively harmful to someone saving for a deposit.
Before you act on anything you find here, consider getting advice from a licensed professional who is allowed to look at your whole situation.
02No fiduciary or advisory relationship
Using AlgoBeam does not make us your broker, your adviser, your fund manager or your fiduciary. We do not hold client money, we do not route orders, we do not have discretion over any account, and we are not compensated on the outcome of your trades.
Reading a strategy we published, subscribing to a plan, or emailing our support desk does not create an advisory relationship. Our support team can explain how a feature works; they cannot and will not tell you what to buy.
03Hypothetical and backtested results
Every performance figure shown on this website and inside the backtester is hypothetical. It is the result of applying a rule set to historical prices after the fact. No money was at risk, no order was ever sent, and nobody had to sit through the drawdown.
Hypothetical results have well-known limitations. Among them:
- Hindsight. A strategy is usually designed with the benefit of knowing what the period did. That advantage does not exist going forward.
- Overfitting. Enough parameter tuning will fit almost any curve. A beautiful equity line on one symbol and one window is evidence of very little.
- Execution. Our simulations model commission, spread and slippage, but a model is not a fill. Real markets gap, queues are real, and liquidity disappears exactly when you want it.
- Survivorship and revisions. Historical datasets drop delisted names and get revised. Both flatter a backtest.
- Behaviour. The backtest never panicked, never doubled down, and never switched the strategy off after four losers.
Past performance — real or simulated — is not indicative of future results. No figure anywhere on this site is a promise, a projection or a target.
04The data on this site is simulated
This is a product website. Every quote, chart, sparkline, heatmap tile, sector move, earnings estimate, IPO listing, economic release and equity curve you see on these marketing pages is generated for demonstration from fixed seeds so the pages render identically for everyone.
The prices are not live. The companies, funds and figures are illustrative. The dates are anchored to a fixed reference day rather than to the real calendar. Do not trade from anything on this site, and do not quote a number from these pages as a market fact.
The same applies to the firm names and testimonials used across the site: they are fictional, written to demonstrate the interface, and are not endorsements by real people or institutions.
05Third-party and community content
Scripts published to the community library, strategies shared by other users, and material from third parties that appears on the platform are the work of the people who wrote them. We do not endorse, verify, audit or guarantee any of it.
A published script’s reported statistics are supplied by its author and are hypothetical in exactly the way described above. Read the code before you run it, and treat an impressive claim as a reason to be more sceptical, not less.
Community content that promises returns, implies certainty, or presents a backtest as a forecast breaks our acceptable-use rules and gets removed. Report anything of that kind to [email protected].
06No guarantee of accuracy or availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We take data quality seriously, but feeds go down, vendors revise history, corporate actions get reflected late, and calculations can contain errors. We do not warrant that any figure is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose.
Nor do we guarantee uptime. Maintenance, an upstream provider, a cloud region or a bug can interrupt charts, alerts or hosted AlgoBeamTS workers. Do not build a process that depends on an alert firing at a precise moment for a position you cannot otherwise manage.
If you spot something wrong, tell us at [email protected] — corrections are welcome and we act on them.
07Risk of loss
Trading and investing carry a substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for everyone. You can lose part of your capital. With leverage, margin, derivatives or certain digital assets, you can lose more than your initial deposit and end up owing money.
- Leverage magnifies losses at least as efficiently as it magnifies gains.
- Markets gap. Stops are not guaranteed to fill at your level, and in fast conditions they may not fill anywhere near it.
- Digital assets are volatile, can trade thinly, and may be subject to platform, custody or regulatory failure.
- Currency exposure, interest rates, taxes and financing costs can turn a profitable-looking strategy into a losing one.
Only risk money you can genuinely afford to lose, and size positions accordingly. If a strategy’s simulated drawdown would have made you abandon it, that is information worth more than its simulated return.
08Jurisdictional note
AlgoBeam is offered from a single global website, but financial rules are local. The Service is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where publishing or accessing it would be contrary to local law, or would require a registration or authorisation we do not hold.
It is your responsibility to know what applies where you live: which instruments you may trade, what leverage you may use, how gains are taxed, and whether the tools on this site may lawfully be used by you at all. Access from a particular country is not a statement that the Service is appropriate or permitted there.
MAZURAPPLIANCES LTD makes no claim to be a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or licensed financial institution in any jurisdiction, and nothing on this site should be read as such a claim.
09Contact
Questions about this disclaimer, or about how a particular figure on the platform was produced, go to [email protected]. We would rather explain the methodology than have you assume it.
This disclaimer forms part of the terms of service and should be read alongside the privacy policy. Where this page and any marketing copy elsewhere on the site appear to disagree about performance, this page wins.
This page is part of a product website and is provided for information only. It is a general description of how we intend to operate, not legal advice, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction.
Ready when you are
Test the idea before you fund it.
The honest use of a backtester is to find out how an idea fails. Run a decade of simulated bars, look at the drawdown you would have sat through, and decide with your eyes open.
